A beautiful, pleasant place, especially clean, good food and a fair price, has good service.
Ordered #13 Plate Antigua for $26.99. The plate has steak, shrimp, chicken, longaiza, beans, rice, avocado, and salsa. Got 3 pieces of tortillas, 3 pieces of shrimp, 1 longaiza, a thin slice of chicken, and a big slice of bistek/steak. Everything tasted really good. The shrimp, chicken, and beans were flavorful. My husband and I shared this meal, and we ended up ordering extra tortillas. My son ordered Al Pastor, and he said it was really good.
Very tasty fish taco, carne asada and papusa. They were generous after we made a mistake on our order as well!
My son in law told me about this Cocina after I told him I was going to another place to pick up a burrito for lunch and I'm glad he did! It was truly authentic, Central American cuisine (not that I really know what that is, but it didn't taste like your standard Mexican fare). I had the chicken burrito and like everything you might think that goes into a burrito, this had it but, believe, the taste is amazing! I took my lunch on a hike up to Olomapli State Park - figured I needed to earn the feast...about a mile and a half, I stopped for lunch and the whole experience was fabulous! Could only eat 1/2 so tomorrow, another feast! I highly recommend!
